For 38 years, students have enjoyed Fifth Grade Camp. For four days, fifth grade students attend this major culminating event of their elementary education. This year, Orchard Farm Fifth Grade Camp is hosted at Lake Williamson in Carlinville, Illinois.

The Outdoor Education Curriculum consists of activities students would not normally experience in the regular school setting. This memorable program encourages teamwork and problem-solving in a setting that fosters appreciation and respect for the environment. Since the program began, more than 3,550 students have enjoyed fishing, archery, team challenge, and sitting around the campfire.

High school students act as camp counselors. Many of the counselors attended camp as a fifth grade student. Camp counselors are responsible for helping the Orchard Farm staff provide a safe, happy camp experience for our fifth graders.
