Eagle Time

Personalization of the school environment is key to the success of students at Orchard Farm High School. Eagle Time (formerly known as PAA) is when students meet in small groups by grade level with an assigned teacher. Here, students are taught the guidance curriculum and meet with their teacher one-on-one to review recent grades (and evaluate whether help is needed).

Eagle Time is also when students will make and update plans for course enrollment, career pathways, and life after graduation. This will often require cooperative work with other students on tasks designed to stimulate discussions that offer new perspectives and insights into personal character.

Eagle Time sessions are held weekly. Throughout the fall semester, discussions focus more on personal, social, and emotional issues. In the spring semester, focus shifts toward academic and career planning with the use of the Missouri Connections Program on their Chromebooks.
